Seed, Wind, & Iron is a 100-day sketchbook project exploring three elemental forces that shape life, magic, and humanity. Each piece in this series is a meditation on how these forces intertwine—how they build, erode, and transform the world around us.

• Seed represents growth, origins, and the quiet potential of things unseen. It is the root of both nature and ideas, the promise of what could be.
• Wind is movement, breath, and change. It carries voices, stirs landscapes, and is the unseen force that connects all things.
• Iron signifies creation through fire and will—industry, resilience, and the forging of something new from the raw elements of the earth.

Together, these forces tell the story of how life takes root, how it moves and shifts, and how it is shaped by time and intent. Through drawings, sketches, and experiments in form, Seed, Wind, & Iron explores the tension and harmony between nature, the ephemeral, and the enduring.

This project is an invitation to witness these forces in motion—one page, one mark, one moment at a time.

Fig & Fable is the art of Aude Shattuck, a Multimedia Artist and Designer. As a maker of myth and magic, her work explores the depths of fantasy, folklore, and fairytales. In all mediums, she paints with light and whimsy.
